Families with sick kids moving to Colorado for medical marijuana
Mon Mar 17, 2014
"the American Epilepsy Society cautions parents that there isn’t solid evidence that marijuana works — or is even safe for kids" So the FDA approved meds don't work and Dravet Syndrome is causing up to hundreds of seizures a day. I'd think the seizures would be far worse than anythi …
House GOP to Move Clean Debt Ceiling Extension
Tue Feb 11, 2014
In reply to: Eric-913730 #4.2 - The insurance is not cheaper if you're self employed and make a decent living - $65K/year. In that case your insurance rates doubled for slighly better coverage. I know, because that's exactly what happened to me. For the record, I'm an independant (politically). …
High Crimes: Robber Gangs Terrorize Colorado Pot Shops
Wed Feb 5, 2014
In reply to: ButterfiesHaveSouls #1.8 - So a better message for 'the kiddies' is to keep it in the hands of drug dealers, many of whom are their classmates? It's much easier to get cannabis if you're a kid than if you're an adult right now, and that's 100% due to the 'war on drugs'.
Pot buyers add more than $1M to Colorado tax coffers
Mon Feb 3, 2014
I'm more worried about Cannabis that's been 'laced' with powerful pesticides and chemical fertilizers. It's highly unlikely that an illegal dealer would waste money by adding other drugs to weed.
Buzz abounds over Denver County Fair's new pot pavilion
Fri Jan 31, 2014
If you read the article you'd know: #1 - There will be no Cannabis at the actual fair - even the 'best of' will be shown in pictures, not in real life. #2 - It's a private fair, not run by the state or city. #3 - Every fair I've been to sells tons of alcohol and no-one ever complains about that. Gue …
No drugs found in search of Justin Bieber's plane in N.J.
Fri Jan 31, 2014
It's a pointless search. Justin can and will easily get his hands on as much cannabis after he lands in the US as he wants - just like everyone else can easily find cannabis if they want it. People need to stop pretending that it's hard to get, or that the 'war on drugs' is working.
Justin Bieber tested positive for marijuana and Xanax, report shows
Thu Jan 30, 2014
The 'child' is Jaxon - Justin's half brother. The photo was posted to twitter by their dad - Jeremy. I hate that I even know this. Agreed they should keep him in Canada.
State efforts to block Obamacare are working, study finds
Mon Jan 13, 2014
@Rick - not sure if bait and switch is accurate, but it's similar to a drug dealer giving you a free taste to get you hooked. Once states have to start paying for their share in 2017 they'll get huge new expenses that they may or may not be able to afford depending on the economy, but they'll be on …
Uruguay becomes first country to legalize marijuana trade
Tue Dec 10, 2013
Good for Uruguay. The limits on consumption seem silly - I mean 1.4oz would last me a lot longer than a month, but if someone wants to smoke an 1/8th a day, why should they care? It's not like it's possible to OD, and the limit will result in continued business for black market entities. Also, oppon …
Police move on protest camp in Ukraine
Tue Dec 10, 2013
You're right - Hitler was disdainful of Christianity and Hitler biographers all agree that Hitler was anti-Christian. It's assumed he would have moved to eradicate Christianity had he won WW2. AnonyMouse needs to do more homework.
